After our busy SEMA week in Las Vegas, some of the motorsports team headed to Southern California to attend Global Time Attack's Super Lap Battle at Buttonwillow Raceway. We were setup as a trackside pit station to advise for proper suspension adjustments for teams equipped with Fortune Auto suspension. The competition was staggering as many previous records were broken and many teams ran into mechanical problems.
Jeff Westphal piloting the Fortune Auto x Professional Awesome Time Attack Evo, was able to come out with a successful showing, regardless of running into many mechanical problems. On the last lap, the Evo ran a 1:42 which was good enough to break the all time record of Limited AWD class, which was initially set by the Professional Awesome Evo as well.
Mark Jager and Jager Racing also had a great showing with their incredible Subaru. After running into problems both days, they were able to finish with a 3rd Place podium finish in Limited AWD Class.
Tony Szirka with UMS Tuning was able to throw down when he needed to which was good enough for a First Place podium spot in Unlimited AWD Class!
